Experience
Martin joined DTZ Investors in January 2007 and leads DTZ Investors’ indirect investment team, which manages investments into indirect real estate funds on a discretionary and advisory basis, in the UK and internationally for a range of institutional clients. Martin is also Fund Manager for DTZ Investors’ pan-European fund of funds.
Martin began his career within the Real Estate Corporate Tax team at Deloitte, where he worked for four years in their London office within the Real Estate Corporate Tax Team, undertaking both tax compliance and structuring work.
Martin’s core competencies are in the management of international and UK indirect property portfolios. He has a range of experience including:
- Developing investment strategies for domestic and overseas investors;
- Implementation of investment strategy through sourcing, negotiating and underwriting new issuance and secondary market transactions;
- Tax structuring and fund due diligence;
- REITs and more liquid structures
- Trading, redemptions and fund liquidations.
Professional Qualifications
Martin is a Chartered Accountant (ACA October 2005) and a holder of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC November 2008).
