Recent experience
Chris joined DTZ Investors in 2004 and is a Fund Manager. Chris has an outstanding track record of UK property investing, having been involved in the management of a UK property portfolio that has five times won the prestigious IPD/IPF award for the best performing property fund, on a risk adjusted basis, over 10 years (In 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011).
Chris is currently a member of DTZ Investors’ Responsible Property Investment Committee.
Prior to joining DTZ Investors, Chris worked for Lloyds TSB as a retail asset manager working on the rationalisation of Lloyds TSB’s retail portfolio (from 2003-2004) and for UK property services company, Chesterton Plc (from 2000-2003).
Chris’s core competencies are in the management of UK property funds, sourcing of UK stock and implementation of specific value adding asset strategies across all asset classes. He has a range of experience including:
- Long-term management of portfolios to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns;
- Transition management of existing portfolios;
- UK stock sourcing;
- Implementation of specific value added strategies; and
- Responsible property investment
