DTZ Investors completes an Office refurbishment at 1-3 Royal Exchange Buildings

DTZ Investors has recently completed a fully fitted office refurbishment at 1-3 Royal Exchange Buildings, City of London.

1-3 Royal Exchange Buildings is located in the City of London, overlooking The Royal Exchange and a two minute walk to Bank Underground Station. The building was originally constructed in 1910 and is Grade II Listed totalling 9,392 sq ft of office space over five upper floors, with floor sizes ranging from 1,602 sq ft to 1,985 sq ft.

Orchard Group Ltd was the main contractor and completed the comprehensive refurbishment to five office floors, the reception, end of trip facilities and common parts. The office accommodation now benefits from fully fitted accommodation with an ESG enhanced specification including LED lighting and a VRF heating and cooling system. The building encourages sustainable travel to the property, including new bike racks, a bike repair station and showers. The refurbishment is due to achieve a BREEAM rating and has achieved EPC B ratings.
