DTZ Investors completes a £6m residential conversion project to deliver 24 luxury new apartments to King Street, Manchester.

DTZ Investors is delighted to have completed a £6m residential conversion project to deliver 24 luxury new apartments to King Street, Manchester.

The development comprises 24 brand new apartments at Kingsgate House on King Street, a transformation of what was once redundant and under-utilised upper parts of a Grade II listed building. Kingsgate House is sympathetic to its listed status, and to celebrate the true King Street charm, the apartments have been built to a high level of specification, whilst retaining the historic heritage and original features to include the sweeping staircase, stained glass windows, and original beams.  Sustainability was central to this project having achieved a B EPC rating with upgrades including asset decarbonisation, enhanced fabric insulation and new secondary glazing.

The development of Kingsgate House is accretive to DTZ Investors' wider placemaking strategy at King Street and we’re pleased to deliver residential accommodation for city centre living in Manchester. King Street is currently enjoying a real transformation, becoming Manchester’s leading retail and leisure district, and these apartments provide the opportunity to live in the very heart of the area and benefit from all of the high-end amenities surrounding it.
