Experience
Peter has been part of DTZ Investors, UK since its inception in 1992. He is a Senior Director and a Fund Manager with over 30 years’ property experience.
Peter has managed one of DTZ Investor’s longest standing mandates for two decades significantly growing its portfolio at the same time as delivering long-term outperformance of its benchmark. Peter’s expertise in UK property investment management was recognised by the IPD and the IPF in both 2008 and 2014, on each occasion securing the Investment Award for the best performing pension fund property portfolio on a rolling three-year basis.
Peter joined the real estate industry in 1981 and joined DTZ in 1984. His 30 years’ experience at DTZ has all been within investment, including time in Investment Agency prior to DTZ Investors. Prior to joining DTZ Peter worked for GL Hearn & Partners and King & Co.
Peter’s core competencies are in the management of UK property funds. He has a range of experience including:
- Long-term management of portfolios to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns;
- Transition management of existing portfolios;
- Strategy implementation to reposition underperforming portfolios; and
- The allocation of capital to construct new portfolios.
Qualifications
Peter is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS, elected 1984).
