DTZ Investors Completes its Residential Refurbishment in London

DTZ Investors has completed its residential refurbishment at Denmark House, forming part of a wider mixed-use ownership known as The Cowcross Estate.  The 19th century Grade II listed building fronts Cowcross Street and sits adjacent to Farringdon station, one of London’s best-connected Zone 1 transport interchanges.  Heritage and sustainability played an important role through the design phase to deliver a high-end modern specification whilst being sympathetic to the building’s history and character.  The flats are generously proportioned and boast quality finishes, having been decarbonised too with new mechanical and electrical services, resulting in EPC B ratings and a BREEAM Excellent standard.  The project contributes positively toward the fund’s overarching ESG objectives and the premium rents will enhance the income return.

TMD Building Consultancy acted as architect and project manager with WSP as cost consultant and Hollis as M&E consultant.  Newsteer provided planning advice with Savills the retained letting agent.
